This project reimagined the ground floor of a substantial family home, transforming a series of disconnected spaces into a cohesive open plan environment centred around modern family living.

The brief was to create a multifunctional interior where cooking, dining, relaxing and entertaining could coexist effortlessly. At its heart sits a redesigned kitchen, carefully re-proportioned to better reflect the scale of the property while providing a practical, hard-working space for everyday use. The kitchen was designed to be lived in, making it equally suited to family life and social occasions rather than feeling like a showroom.

Striking natural marble defines the scheme, introducing movement, texture and timeless elegance throughout the space. Soft brushed gold detailing complements the stone, adding warmth and refinement while maintaining a calm, contemporary aesthetic.

The open plan layout is carefully zoned to create distinct yet connected spaces. A relaxed family snug provides a comfortable retreat while remaining visually linked to the kitchen, while a bespoke drinks bar allows the space to transition seamlessly from a busy family hub during the day to an elegant setting for entertaining in the evening.

Durable cabinetry, robust surfaces and practical finishes were selected throughout to withstand the demands of everyday family life without compromising on quality or appearance.

The result is a timeless interior that balances elegance with practicality. Thoughtful planning, refined detailing and premium materials combine to create a sophisticated yet welcoming space that truly forms the heart of the home.
